Table size is based off inside diminsions. Not overall size! The following will help determine your perfect table size. Based off standard cue length of 57". Short cues are available in 52", 48", 42" even as short as 36" and 24".
Simple math will help you determine if you need a shorty!
7' Table.
39" x 78" needs a room 12'9" x 16'
8' Table.
44" x 88" needs a room 13'2" x 16'10"
8.5 or "Pro 8" Table.
46" x 92" needs a room 13'4" x 17'2"
9' table.
50" x 100" needs a room 13'8" x 17'10"
